Rules are completed.
Note to 4.6.2010: I'm sorry for not publishing information that bugs and hacks are not allowed. I hope you knew it's an abuse. It's in every league like that, so I'm sure you knew that. Just for correction, I've added it. (Point 4.9)
Note to 15.6.2010: Number of advancing teams from first phase (freeplay) to second phase (playoff) has been lowered to 20.
Note to 24.6.2010: Point 3 was edited for playoffs league format.
Note to 26.6.2010: Point 2.3 was split into two points: 2.3a (freeplay+playoff) and 2.3b (knockout).


Server Settings:

Gamemode is Capture The Flag.
Capture limit is 10.
Time limit is 10.
Respawn time is 3 seconds and WaveRespawn time is 4 seconds.
Maximum count of grenades are 3.
Bonus frequency and bonuses overall are set to 0.
Friendly fire, realistic mode, and survival mode are all disabled.
Stationary guns, bullet time, sniper line, and minimap are all off.
Max ping is set to 355.
HealthCooldown is set 0.
Scripting is disabled.


1. Basic informations:

League will be separathed into three parts. Parts are different from each other, so you should read these rules carefully.

First part of league is freeplay, where every team is collecting points as much as possible. Here teams can play against each other only four times. Every team can acquire 3 points for win, 1 point for tie and 0 points for loss. Bonuses: intercontinental - 2 points for win and tie, 0 points for loss. First 20 teams will advance into next part of the league.

Second part of league is playoff. Here, teams will be randomly picked into one of 4 groups. In each group, teams will fight against each other only once, so each team will participate in 4 matches in total. Teams can acquire 5 points for win, 2 points for tie and 1 point for loss. First two teams from each group will advance into last part of the league.

Third part of league is knockout (sometimes called as a spider). Teams will get their opponents based on their final place in playoff. Losing teams are knocked-out and are out of the league.


2. Gameplay informations:

2.1 Match may begin once both teams confirm ability to play, both teams have selected maps and are prepaired for a game with players being on their official team rosters.

2.2 Players of both teams must play with their official names registered at the signups teamlist.

2.3a Team which challenges second team is marked as A team, challenged team is marked as B team.

Matches are played in compilation of two players per team (or "two-on-two").
Spectators are allowed.

First map picks A team, side is chosen by B team and map may be played on A team's server.

Second map is picked by B team, side is chosen by A team and map may be played on B team's server.

Third map (tiebreaker) is played if at least for one map are teams tied (score is even for both teams). If tiebreaker map will result in a tie again, match ends as tie. Side is chosen by B team and tiebreaker may be played on A team's server.

2.3b One team is marked as A team, second team is marked as B team.

Matches are played in compilation of two players per team (or "two-on-two").
Admin(s) will spectate, other spectators are disallowed.

First map picks A team, side is chosen by B team and map may be played on A team's server.

Second map is picked by B team, side is chosen by A team and map may be played on B team's server.

Third map picks A team again, side is chosen by B team and map may be played on A team's server.

In case one team will win all those (three) maps, that team wins the match. In case the result for maps is 2:1, 2:0+1tie, 1:1+1tie, 1:0+2tie or 0:0+3tie, teams will continue playing with fourth map.

Fourth map picks B team, side is chosen by A team and map may be played on B team's server.

In case result after this map is 3:1, 2:0+2tie, team with larger number of maps won, wins the match. In case result is 2:2, 2:1+tie, 1:1+2tie, 1:0+3tie or 0:0+4tie, teams will continue playing with fifth map, which is tiebreaker.

At fifth map (aka tiebreaker) side is chosen by B team and map may be played on A team's server.

In case, result is tied after all those five maps, team which has capped more flags overall in those five maps wins the match. In case number of flags is also same for both teams, admin will decide which map will teams play.

2.4 Tiebreaker map is ctf_Steel

2.5 Time breaks betwen maps are allowed for maximum of 5 minutes. Time break may be longer, if it's agreed by both teams. Maximum of 20 minutes is allowed.

2.6 Only official maps of Soldat version 1.5.0 can be played. Available maps are: ctf_Ash, ctf_B2b, ctf_Blade, ctf_Cobra, ctf_Death2, ctf_Division, ctf_Dropdown2, ctf_Equinox, ctf_Guardian, ctf_Hormone, ctf_IceBeam, ctf_Kampf, ctf_Laos, ctf_Lanubya, ctf_Maya, ctf_Maya2, ctf_MFM2, ctf_Nuubia, ctf_Raspberry, ctf_Rotten, ctf_Ruins, ctf_Run, ctf_Snakebite, ctf_Steel, ctf_Viet, ctf_Voland, and ctf_X.

2.7 Any map can be played more than once per match, but neither team can pick tiebreaker map as their map choice.

2.8 Teams have one hour to report their match after it was played, otherwise it's considered as void.


3. Match reporting:
To report match, please use this site. Fill it up and press "Get forum code". Once pressed, new page will show up, where's forum code. Copy this forum code, go to Match Reports section and start new thread and paste it to message body.

Title of the topic - here write this format: clan1 vs clan2 [number-of-match-against-this-clan]
- e.g.: If Numerite plays against Skill Controlled, and they've played 3rd match, title of the topic will look like this:

* Note - Using of match number in title of the topic applies only to first phase of the league.

4. "Troubleshooting":

4.1 For conviction proof, we recommend you to use F8 everytime map starts. If you have no proof, second team can't be punished.

4.2 If any of players needs pause during the map, it is allowed to wait up to 5 minutes. If that player isn't ready within 5 minutes, map victory belongs to opponent team with score of 10:0.

4.3 If any of players disconnects during the map (in case of connection problems or any other problem), both teams wait for disconnected player's return or his/her substitution. If  player or substitute didn't arrive within 5 minutes, match victory belongs to opponent team with match score 2:0.

4.4 Substite may only be considered as a player, who is in a given team's official roster.

4.5 Once substitute or previously disconnected player arrives, he/she is required to use "/kill" command in order to initiate his/her respawn time. Then the match can continue.

4.6 No one-on-two or one-on-one allowed.

4.7 If disconnecting for any player is repeated three or more times, opponent team automatically wins the match with match score 2:0.

4.8 If team will disconnect sooner before map finishes (that's when score table shows up), opponent team wins the map.

4.9 Bugs, hacks, and any other stuff of this kind is not allowed.


5. Additional:

5.1 Being in multiple teams is not allowed. Team "leaders" are responsible for this. Disrespecting this rule may cause the team to be excluded from the league.

5.2 Excessive crude behavior like flaming, spamming or racism is not welcomed and may cause the team to be penalised or excluded from the league.

5.3 Matches must not be searched on #Duo.Gather since it's gather channel only. You may use #duo.league channel for that or any other channel.

5.4 This league is hosted by #Duo.Gather.

5.5 Teams and their players must use names and team prefixes (tags) they have approved in their team's signup post. Disrespecting this rule may lead to adding penalty points to given team.
